Dear Liz & family, Steve and I found out of Lane's passing tonight. I'm sorry we couldnt come pay our respects. I hadn't seen Lane in a very long time. Lane always had that million dollar smile! I will fondly recall the years I worked for him at AEDC. Lane was my boss for years, and I'm grateful to have known him. He was a good man. I know you will be lost without him, but we pray God's strength and comfort for you and yours!
Louise and Jerry James says:
Words can't express how bad we feel about Lane's Passing. He always had a smile on his lips, a joke on his tongue and the love of Jesus in his heart. He has now walked through the gates of Heaven to live forever with our Lord. If you need anything at all, you have my number.
I am so sorry we could not attend his service with all that's going on in these times, but our thoughts and prayers were with you then as well as now.

Ann Byrom says:
I was so sorry today to read of Lane's passing in The Tullahoma News. I (as most other folks) am pretty much self quarantined inside my house but would loved to have attended the funeral in respect to him and for you. I thoroughly enjoyed the times that we worked together at AEDC. We struggled through good times and some not so good at AEDC, but always managed to accomplish what we had to get done. He was a fine fellow, was always nice to me, and was certainly someone that you could depend on. I'm so sorry for your loss but I know that God will wrap his loving arms around you and help you through this. May the wonderful memories of your life together help sustain you and give you strength in the coming days. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I'll certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
