McLemore, Mr. David Rudolph -

Manchester - Memorial services for Mr. David Rudolph McLemore, age 72 of Manchester, will be conducted Saturday morning, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church in Manchester. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening, April 24, 2009 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. McLemore passed away Tuesday, April 21 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. David McLemore was born December 14, 1936 in Blanche, TN to the late John Briggs and Ruth Marie Bishop McLemore.  He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Sverdrup at AEDC for 31 years upon retirement. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was an avid reader thanks to his special friend, Virginia Diehl. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one brother, Larry McLemore; one sister, Rachel Sumners; and sister-in-law, Devonna McLemore. His survivors include his son, Jonathan and wife Cristy McLemore of Grant, AL; daughter, Kelley and husband Mike Hairrell of Knoxville; girlfriend, Virginia Diehl of Manchester; former wife, Mary Emilane McLemore of Tullahoma; brothers, John Briggs €œBill€? (Charm) McLemore of Brentwood, Richard €œPete€? (Marie) McLemore of Antioch, Phillip (Dot) McLemore of Blanche, TN; Donald (Joyce) McLemore of Murfreesboro, Jerry (Ann) McLemore of Ripley, MS; two grandchildren, David William €œWill€? and Charles Briggs €œCharlie€? Hairrell of Knoxville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The American Heart and Stroke Association 1818 Patterson Street Nashville, TN 37203 with a note that says In Memory Of David McLemore. COFFEE COUNTY FUNERAL CHAPEL IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
