Tullahoma - Memorial services for Mr. Edward Joseph Wolf, age 86 will be conducted Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1610 Wilson Avenue, Tullahoma, TN with Reverend Len Hendrix officiating. Visitation with the Wolf family will be from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to services at the church. Mr. Wolf passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at United Regional Nursing Home in Manchester.
Mr. Wolf was born March 15, 1924 in Manhattan, New York the son of the late Edward Wolf and Cathleen McElroy Wolf. He retired from General Dynamics in 1979 where he was employed as an Industrial Fireman for over 28 years. In earlier years he was a member of the Elks B.O.P. E. He was a United States Navy veteran having served during World War II. He was also a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Tullahoma.He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne V. Wolf of Tullahoma; 5 children, Jacque Wood and husband, Bill of Fayetteville, NC, Gwendolyn Reeve and husband, Bill of Bristol, Rhode Island, Joseph S. Wolf and wife, Audrey of Tullahoma, Kathleen Halkin and husband Hubert of Idyllwild, CA and Brian K. Wolf and significant other, Barbara Spitnale both of Tullahoma; seven grandchildren, Coral, Chele, and Roni Wood, Amanda and Dustin Wolf, Brianna Brown, Ben Zeigler and Brianna Wolf; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Tagan and Mathan and other special family members, Kelsey, Kasey, Kaili and Cody.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Memory of Mr. Wolf to the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1610 Wilson Avenue, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
