Manchester - Funeral services for Mr. Billy E. Vaughn, age 75, will be conducted Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Old Reddens Chapel Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation with the Vaughn family will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Vaughn passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at his residence in Manchester, TN.
He was born October 31, 1935 in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late George Richard and Una V. Keele Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn was a U S Army veteran. He was a Truck Driver for many years and enjoyed farming. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Beech Grove.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by one brother, Millard “Tony” Vaughn and one niece, JoAnn Vaughn Painter.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Jessie Brandon Vaughn of Manchester; one son, Joseph Kelly Vaughn and his wife Missy of Kingston Springs, TN; one daughter, Angelia Gail Vaughn Garrard and her husband Doug of Manchester; one brother, James Robert “Bobby” Vaughn and his wife Flossie of Florida; one sister-in-law, Kathy Vaughn of Tullahoma; four grandchildren, Justin and Rachel Garrard and Brandon and Morgan Vaughn and several Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Old Reddens Chapel Cemetery Fund.
