Manchester - Funeral services for Stanley Bryan, age 80, of Manchester will be conducted Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryan passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at the United Regional Medical Center of Manchester. He was born September 9, 1931 in Franklin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Walden Carroll and Nancy Bradshaw Bryan. Mr. Bryan had his own Janitorial Service for many years. He enjoyed his work and gardening.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Douglas Bryan and three sisters, Lela Robison, Lucille Liner and Ollie Penn.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife, Estelle Strawn Bryan of Manchester; one son, Joe Bryan and his wife Theresa of Manchester; one daughter, Roxanna Bryan of Manchester; one sister, Mary Helton of Texas; three grandchildren, Ashley Brook Murphy, Jeffery Riddle and Kyle Bryan; two great granddaughters, Nevaeh and Jaylie Murphy; a special nephew, Ralph Cannon of Michigan; several nieces and nephews, numerous loving friends and “Papa’s Lil’ Girls”, Jada and Vanessa.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Stanley Bryan Fund at Peoples Bank & Trust, 1203 Hillsboro Blvd., Manchester, TN. 37355.
