Cahill, Jordyn Nicol -
Manchester - A Celebration of Life Service for Jordyn Nicol Cahill, age 18 of Manchester will be conducted Friday, December 16, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Tim Forsythe, Sr., officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Jordyn passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 in Manchester.
She was born April 24, 1993 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. She graduated Coffee County Central High School in May 2011. During high school, Jordyn was active in the choir and drama club having performed in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. She loved acting in theatrical plays as well as playing soccer and softball all through her school years. Jordyn also enjoyed her Culinary Arts classes. During her younger years during the summers, she attended Camp Woodmen eventually became a camp counselor to other younger children. Jordyn loved to make people laugh and smile. Recently, she was active in the Manchester Arts Center where she performed in the play “Sweeney Todd”. She was also in several beauty pageants, including the Miss Snowflake Pageant at the Arts Center. She was employed at Wal-Mart in Manchester as well as McDonald’s Restaurant.Jordyn will be dearly missed by her many, many friends and loving family.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Toby J. Cahill.
Jordyn is survived by her loving mother, Bobbi Cahill-Lujan and husband, Ismael Lujan of Manchester; loving father, Richard W. “ Rick” Cahill and wife, Linda of Shelbyville, TN; brothers, Skylar Cahill and Austyn Lujan; sister, Rhayn Lujan; half-brother, Hunter Cahill and step-brothers and sisters, Nickie Curry, Vickie Bridges and Alex Floyd; maternal grandparents, Betty and Keith Templeton of Manchester and paternal grandfather, William P. Cahill of Antioch, TN; aunts, Becky Mitchell and Kristy Templeton; uncles, Matt Mitchell and Rick Templeton and special cousins, Max and Mari Mitchell and Spencer and Daniel Templeton.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Jordyn be made to
Teen Actors Guild (TAG) at PO Box 805 Manchester, TN 37349.
