Manchester - Funeral services for Mr. Jeffrey Paul Mines, age 45, of Manchester, will be conducted Thursday, March 8 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Summitville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 8 from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Mines passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home in Manchester.
Mr. Jeffrey Mines was born January 30, 1967 in Tullahoma, the son of the late Felix G. and Rachel Turner Mines. He was an Assembler at GTL Laboratories. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing on the computer. He was a member of Hickerson Station Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mines was preceeded in death by two brothers, James Willis and Larry Alan Mines and sister-in-law, Tammie Cole.
Mr. Mines is survived by his wife, Melissa “Missy” Mines of Manchester ; two step-sons, Joshua Dotson and Hayden Dodd, both of Manchester; step-daughter, Jessica Dotson of Manchester; four brothers, Johnny Mines and his wife, Barbara of Tullahoma, Ricky Mines, Ray Mines and Mike Mines, all of Tullahoma; five sisters, Janice Dodd and her husband, Kenneth of Hillsboro, Gail Austin and her husband, Lonnie of Tullahoma, Patsy Newman of Estill Springs, Becky Chambers and her husband, Roger of Tullahoma, and Melissa Smith of Tullahoma; mother-in-law, Carolyn Cole of Manchester and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
