Morrison - Graveside services for Ms. Irene Hobbs, age 77, of Morrison, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Shady Grove Cemetery. Ms. Hobbs passed from this life on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at her residence in Morrison.
Irene was born on July 13, 1942, in Coffee County to the late Andrew “Jack” and Ruby Hobbs. She worked at Oster for 35 years before her retirement. Irene was a caring individual, always taking care of everyone else. She was extremely witty, loved crocheting and quilting, was an avid cat lover, and an amazing cook. Irene was a member of the Summitville Quilting Club. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Irene is also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Hobbs. She is survived by her niece, Angela Hobbs; nephew, Kevin Hobbs; sister-in-law, Deborah Hobbs; great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Brown, Kyle Hobbs, Kaymen Hobbs, and Korri Hobbs.

Irene was a dear friend and like a big sister to me .she stayed with my mom and dad and aunt Beula when she worked at oster . Loved her dearly and although we dint stay in close contact like I should have I have the memories of staying the weekend with her as a teen and her playing her guitar and singing Barbara Allen and hunting for missle toe She will be in my memory and comfort for the family and prayers their way

Irene was the greatest person I ever met.I only new her for 13 years but, every time she walked into a room she made everyone's lives a whole lot better.I'm one of her nephews and I miss her every day. Thank you for the prayers.
