Baker, Mrs. Mary Malone -
Hillsboro - Funeral services for Mary Malone Baker, age 73, a resident of Hillsboro, TN will be conducted Friday, March 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-9:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Baker passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at her daughter€™s residence. She was born December 27, 1935 in Beth Page, TN the daughter of the late Levy Stinson and Willie Mince Stinson. She was a homemaker, who in earlier years, spent much of her time farming in the Mud Creek community with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed gardening. She was employed at Shoney€™s in Manchester for over twenty years where she met lots of wonderful friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her son, Richard Glen Malone who passed away in 1983 and a brother, DeWayne Stinson and her late husband, Wayne Baker. Survivors include four loving daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Green Farrar and husband, Wayne of Wartrace, TN; Gina Fann and husband Brian of Hillsboro, Lisa Brandon and husband, Bruce also of Hillsboro and Jeanette Mankin and husband, Scott of Manchester; 13 grandchildren, Brandi Fann, Brooke Fann and Baylee Fann, Macie Brandon and Gage Brandon, Derek Green and Britney Green, Ryan Gray, Chance Gray, Grant Chambers, Reagan Chambers, Michael Malone and Misty Layne and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Carly Layne. Also surviving is a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Sam Fleming and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Rosemary Stinson all of Nashville, TN. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Highland Rim.
