Manchester - Funeral services for Jo Anne McMahan Martin, age 77 of Manchester will be conducted Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Carl Sims officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Martin passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Nashville, TN. She was born June 6, 1932 in Coffee County, the daughter of the late Basil B. McMahan and Lizzie M. McMahan. In earlier years, she was employed at AEDC in Human Resources and then at Nashville Electric. She retired from the United States Postal Service and attended Main Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Randall Martin and also her late husband, John Keehbauch. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Edith M. and Larry Underwood of Alpharetta, GA; son and partner, Wayne Martin and Mark Rosenthal of North Bergen, New Jersey, three grandchildren, Justin Underwood of Knoxville, TN and Jasmine and Lily Martin-Rosenthal of North Bergen, NJ and a sister, Ywain McMahan Phillips of Manchester and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are step-children, Wanda, Jan, Randy, Joe, Mark, Kurt, Ann, Tony and Mary Keebauch and families.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. COFFEE COUNTY FUNERAL CHAPEL IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
