Manchester - Funeral services for Susan Diane “Susie” Sheets, age 59 of Manchester will be conducted Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Barry Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Fredonia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sheets passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Manchester. She was born April 2, 1950 in Coffee County, TN the daughter of the late John Sheets and Jean Farrar Sheets. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo at the Senior Citizens Center in Manchester with her many friends. She was known by many for her love and devotion to her many pets. She was a member of the Summitville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her only brother, Robert Sheets of LaFollette, TN.
Survivors include her loving sister and husband, Sharon and Jack Payne of Harrogate, TN; nephews, John Payne and Jason Sheets and nieces, Cindy Payne, Rose Payne Hall and Amy Payne Brown, and numerous cousins to include special cousins, Fara and Scott Mullins and Tony and Barbara Adams all of Manchester and a dear devoted longtime friend, Louise Vandergriff.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Summitville United Methodist Church or to the Coffee County Animal Shelter.
