Banks, Horace April 19, 1939 - January 18, 2011

Estill Springs - Memorial services for Horace Banks, age 71 of Estill Springs, will be conducted Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 3:00-4:30 pm at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mr. Banks passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
Horace Banks was born April 19, 1939 in Manchester to the late Andrew and Throna Haley Banks. In earlier years he owned and operated B & T Glass where he worked as a Glazer. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 2002, Faye Banks; and brother, Elroy Banks.
His survivors include daughter, Shelia (Jonathan) Reed of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Dub (Ruth) Banks, Joe (Virginia) Banks; sister, Hazel Denny, all of Manchester; grandchildren, James (Rachel), April (Brian), and Steven (Janna); step-grandchildren, Jonathan Jr. (Sara) and Kristina (Evan); six great-grandchildren(Derrik, Katie, Nevaeh, Aaren, Ashten and Kirsten) and 10 step-great-grandchildren (Alyiah, Alexis, Jayden, Brandon, Bradley, Breanna, Patrick, Jonathan III, Clarie, and Addison.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
