McMinnville - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Joan Wiser Lee, age 76, will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 5 – 8 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Lee passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at Raintree Manor in McMinnville, TN.
She was born August 8, 1935 in McMinnville, TN., the daughter of the late Fred C. and Hazel Dow Carroll Wiser Sr. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked for many years as a seamstress at the PCA Pajama Factory in Manchester. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall “Butch” Lee.
Survivors include one son, Randall Lee of Manchester; one daughter, Vickie Crosslin and her husband Dwight of Manchester; three brothers: Fred C. Wiser Jr. of Manchester, Harold Wiser of Seminole, Florida, and Gary Wiser and his wife Brenda of Nashville; one sister, Helen Jacobs of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren, Shannon Tate and her husband Terry, Andy Crosslin and his wife Kim, Matthew Crosslin and his wife Misty, and Karmen Buchanan and her husband Ken, all of Manchester; and seven great grandchildren, Taryn, Bohdi, and Nathanial Tate, Brandon Haston, Katie, Sara Beth and Hunter Crosslin.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Avalon Hospice, 1802 N. Jackson Street, Tullahoma, TN. 37388
