Tullahoma - Funeral services David Delrece Dillard, age 50 of Tullahoma will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cypress Gardens Cemetery in Manchester.
David was born May 6, 1961 in Cannon County, Tennessee the son of Jewell Elizabeth Little Dillard and the late Jake Dillard. He was employed with Carrier, Inc. from 1988 until the plants closing in 2005. He enjoyed working on cars through the years and more recently, traveling. In addition to his father, Jake Dillard, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jake Dillard, Jr.
In addition to his mother, Jewell E. Dillard of Manchester, David is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Doris J. Dillard of Tullahoma; five children, Bethany McGee and Amber Dillard, both of Tullahoma; Taryn Dillard (Ben Aulph) of Manchester; Shavonne Dillard of Cleveland, OH and Jessica Dillard also of Manchester; five grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters, Forrestine Rowe of Manchester; Tom and Jeannette Dillard of Woodbury; Melvin Dillard and Phyllis of Cleveland OH; Dennis and Phyllis Dillard also of Cleveland, OH; Nellie and Bobby Battles; Myrtle Mae Dillard; Elizabeth Diane Peppers; Harry Eugene Dillard all of Manchester and Sarah Alice Dillard and Walter Carter of Columbus, GA; several devoted friends to include, Cleo Sanders, Jerry Francis, Walter Carter, Lawrence Hyatt and Jody Brinkley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
