Hillsboro - Memorial services for Ms. Leslie Gaye Inman, age 52, of Hillsboro, will be conducted Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM. Ms. Inman passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born August 30, 1960 in Winchester, Tennessee the youngest of four daughters born to the late Charles Ephriam Inman, Jr., and Kay Holland Inman. She graduated Franklin County High School in 1978. Following graduation, she and her parents moved to Miami, FL. During this time for a few years, Leslie enjoyed traveling to various locations to visit family and friends. She dearly loved her family and friends, who affectionately referred to her as “everybody’s little sister” and “Aunt Leslie”. She was a true “flower child” of the 1960’s, who had a deep passion for music and art. Some of her favorite performers were Donnie Osmond, the Beatles and Paul McCartney. Leslie never met a stranger and became a friend to anyone she would meet. She was a jewelry artist and designer who made beautiful necklaces and bracelet creations. Leslie was a breast cancer survivor for over 14 years and a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She will also be missed by her sweet, inherited, Yorkie dog, Moe.
Survivors include three sisters, Deborah E. Inman of Manchester; Melissa Kay Morin and Reece Anderson of Manchester; and Paula R. Chambers and husband, George of Hillsboro; ten nieces and nephews, Kasey Maxwell; Meloney Howell and husband, Aaron; Jaimey Maxwell; Amy Townsend and David Hamm; Mandy Sapp and husband, Travis; Michael Cheatam and Kayla Slobodnik; Matthew Bendus and wife, Maranda; Callie Bendus; Sarah Morin; and Nehemiah Chambers; six great-nieces and great-nephews, Gunner Massey; Zakery Massey; Payton Townsend; Reagan Howell; Reston Chambers; Killian Anderson; and Rhodes Grayton Bendus; and numerous other loving family members and friends. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Memory Of Leslie to the Greater Nashville, Susan G.
